Our journey to Serbia, Europe, was an exhilarating adventure for the members of the Ghorbet Lagee dance troupe and our talented musician band. We were honored to be part of the prestigious ETNOFEST in Cacack city, a renowned folk dance festival that brings together artists from all around the world. Our group had the privilege of representing Palestine, proudly showcasing our rich cultural heritage through dance, music, and traditional attire.

As we stepped onto the festival stage, the vibrant energy of Serbia’s warm and welcoming audience filled the air. Our performances were met with enthusiastic applause and admiration, creating a deep connection between our Palestinian roots and the hearts of the Serbian people. It was truly a heartwarming experience to witness how our art form transcended borders and language barriers, fostering a sense of unity and cultural exchange.

Beyond the stage, our trip to Serbia allowed us to immerse ourselves in the country’s unique culture and traditions. We had the opportunity to explore the picturesque streets of Cacack city, savor delicious Serbian cuisine, and engage in meaningful interactions with fellow artists and festival attendees. The bonds we forged during this trip will forever be cherished, reminding us of the power of dance and music in promoting cross-cultural understanding and friendship.

Our participation in ETNOFEST not only showcased the beauty of Palestinian culture but also strengthened our resolve to continue sharing our heritage with the world. This unforgettable journey to Serbia will forever be etched in our memories as a testament to the universal language of art, bringing people together from different corners of the globe in the spirit of harmony and celebration.
