Ghorbet Lagee is a nonprofit organization that was established in 2014. It is located in Dheisheh refugee camp in Bethlehem city, next to Al Huda Fuel Company. Ghorbet Lagee has become one of the most leading associations in the field of art and culture in Palestine through the continuous development in its activities. These activities include: ‘Ghorbet Lagee Popular Dance Group’, ‘The Boys Zaffah Group’, ‘The Girls Wedding Dance Group’, ‘The Dabke Dance School’, ‘Annual Summer Camp’, and the involvement of its members in various events. Ghorbet Lagee specializes in providing brotherhood values, innovation and the spirit of competition.
Our Aims
The aim of our organization is to contribute to the development of our Palestinian community through artistic and cultural events such as local and international dance tours. Through art expression, we aim to pave the way to intellectual creativity.
Our Vision
Our vision is to become one of the most prominent contributors to the artistic and cultural renaissance in Palestine. Our vision is to become a cultural hub for the youth to embrace and express the Palestinian culture through dance and other forms of art.
