On behalf of the Palestinian people, we are pleased to announce the unique and distinguished participation of the Ghorbet Lagee group in an important international cultural festival, where we will promote our popular arts outside the borders of our homeland, to meet 21 other international bands in the heart of Istanbul, Turkey. This valuable opportunity came at the invitation of the Istanbul Municipality and the Turkish government, which gives our participation a special sparkle.

This participation is an eye-catching opportunity after our successful trip in Poland, Serbia and Italy in 2023, as we will be honored to represent Palestine in this wonderful international event. In addition, 20 members of the Ghorbet Lagee group will participate in the Palestinian popular Dabke performances, where we will present artistic diversity that reflects our culture and identity as a people. 

As part of the association’s annual activities, which we have been carrying out for years to this day, to participate in international festivals, this will be the second time that the band participates in an international festival in Turkey, after its successful experiences in various European countries. We will always raise the name of Palestine high in every international event in which we participate, and reflect the beauty and diversity of our popular arts.
