Ghorbet Lagee Zaffah Group

This group started showing in Weddings since 2009, a group that welcomes the Groom with songs when he arrives by multiple musicians and instruments.

Palestinians used to have their own customs and traditions that they inherited from their ancient ancestors, and perhaps marriage is the most prominent of these customs that have not changed.
But today’s wedding is “modern” according to the size of the era, and it is a rhythmic band that includes about 8 people who carry tambourines and present melodies most often commensurate with the occasion or express the function of the bride and groom through phrases or words that glorify the two.

The wedding mission begins when the newlyweds get off the carriage and celebrate them while entering the ceremony hall at a time when you find musicians and singers gathered around the bride and surrounded by the guests and the bride’s family, after which the band stops to begin the real wedding ceremony in which the wedding bands perform dozens of songs with everyone dancing. This is before the newlyweds enter the celebration hall, and the latter in turn witnesses another traditional ceremony in which well-known singers sing, and on their songs the marriage ceremony concludes.
